Despite the troubled global economy, the domain industry continues to experience tremendous growth. Domain name values continue to rise as more businesses and entrepreneurs realize the value of owning premium domain names.

Premium domain names are a viable investment due to their potential for sale (flipping), or development into profitable long-term businesses. While it may take years for the traditional real estate market to rebound, domains continue to grow in value.

Affiliate Fuel “Changing Focus”

Ad network Affiliate Fuel is suspending their relationships with publishers as of April 1, 2009.

An email sent to all affiliates yesterday explained that “Experian Interactive Media, who owns Affiliate Fuel, has decided to take a different direction with our affiliate network.  We are changing our focus from an affiliate network to an internal marketing channel….As of 4/1/09, your Affiliate Fuel login will no longer work and your account will not be credited for any activity as of this date.”

If you are a Twitter user, you really should check out Twimailer, a simple yet powerful new Twitter application. In short, Twimailer provides full details of your new followers, delivered it directly to your inbox. Instead of having to click through to the follower’s profile to decide if you want to follow them back, Twimailer gathers all their relevant information and delivers directly to you. You see essentially everything on the user’s Twitter page but without having to click through to visit the Twitter site.

Welcome! It’s been a long time in coming but I’ve finally launched my very own blog, JeffKlein.com.

I’ve been designing websites for clients since 1997 and working with Wordpress for the past two years. During that time I began thinking about starting my own blog. After securing the domain name, designing the site, and writing some initial content, I am finally ready to launch the site.

I am very excited about this new project. I appreciate your time and will do my best to provide you with valuable insights into my online endeavors. My areas of knowledge include web design and usability, affiliate marketing, and search engine optimization.
